HOW IN THE WORLD CAN PEOPLE AFFORD TO ADOPT THAT AREN'T 'WELL OFF'???

I have been looking and looking into Adoption with different Attorneys and Agencies. But quite frankly, I can't afford the $25,000-$30,000 price tag. WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?!? And this is Domestic Adoptions!
B and I have prayed and prayed and are being led down the road with state adoptions. Luckily, they are little to no cost, BUT the waiting list for a baby is ridiculously long...
We went to an informational meeting and they pretty much said they weren't looking for adoptive parents but rather foster parents. B and I do not feel led to foster at this point.

So we are on the waiting list to even start our parenting classes/home study.

Back in the waiting game......

In the meantime we are trying to have 'fundraisers' to grow money in our fund... currently, it is very low... we have had two yard sales which have helped but no where near 25K...

We are just waiting and praying, waiting and praying....
